Holland ACKERS, Esq., of Bank
House, Manchester, b. 6th February 1744, son of George Ackers, by Ellen Bonney, his 1st
wife, purchased the Moreton property. He m. 23rd October 1787,
Elizabeth Filkin, and by her, who d. 15th February 1860, had a son and successor.
George ACKERS, Esq., of Moreton
Hall, b. 19th August 1788, who m. 8th November 1811, Harriott Dell, 2nd dau. of Henry
Hutton, Esq., of Lincoln, and by her, who m. 2ndly in 1841, William Edward Powell, of
Nanteos, Esq., M.P. for Cardiganshire, left at his decease, 22nd November 1836, an only
child, the present George Holland Ackers, Esq.,
of Moreton Hall. |
