	Lineage: This is another branch of the ancient
    family of Adair. BENJAMIN ADAIR, Esq., of
    Loughanmore, who married Anne, daughter of Waterhouse Crymble, Esq., of Ballygillock, Co.
    Antrim, was father of THOMAS BENJAMIN ADAIR, Esq.,
    of Loughanmore, who married Margaret, eldest daughter of Charles Crymble, Esq., of
    Ballygillock, Co. Antrim and had (with two other sons, Benjamin and William Robert, and
    two daughters, Anne and Elizabeth) an eldest son and successor, CHARLES ADAIR, Esq., of
    Loughanmore, who married in 1776, Millicent, eldest daughter of Henry Ellis, Esq., of
    Prospect, in the County of the Town of Carrickfergus, and had issue:
